Night train to Sapa.





You will transfer to Hanoi Train Station from your hotel in Hanoi.


 Over night train to Sapa. It takes about 9 hours to go from Hanoi to Sapa by train.

Day 1 :Lao Cai – Sapa Town’s Highlights





Arrive Lao Cai Train Station around 5:00.

Upon checking out the station, our guide will be waiting to pick you up. Then transfer for 01 hour in a private car uphill toward the Hoang Lien Son mountain and Sapa. Stops as much as you wish for over views or photos of stunning valleys, terraced rice fields and magnificent scenery.


Have breakfast upon your arrival to Sapa town. Then walk with our guide around this charming town for a brief introduction.

First, visit the the market where ethnic minority people of different groups wearing their traditional costumes comes every day selling local vegetable, bamboo shoot, mushroom, medicinal herbs and souvenirs either made, grown or harvested made by their hands…there are chances to get intact and taking photos.

Then follow the footsteps uphill to the top of Ham Rong Mountain for over viewing beautiful scenery of the town and surrounding area. Pay a visit to an orchard garden and a mini museum which tells a detailed account of ethnic minority groups living in Sapa and the northwest of Vietnam.

 Free at leisure the rest of the day and overnight at Sapa hotel.

Day 2 : Ta Phin Commune – Silver Waterfall (Fall for Lovers) – Tram Ton Pass





In the morning, have breakfast at the hotel.


 At 09:00, leave the hotel to visit Ta Phin Village. Our guide and driver will pick you up and transfer to the center of the valley for a walk afterward tracing the path of the village winding around the valley.From high elevation, great view of the valley stretching under your feet.

Pass by and see up close Black H’mong quaint traditional house scattering on your way, as well as meet groups of Red Zao women making their beautiful handicrafts includes embroidered clothes, handbags…Located in a large valley, surrounded by high mountains covered by pine trees and forest, this area is home to the Red Zao and Black H’mong ethnic. And although living close to each other for years, these two ethnic peoples are very different: The H’mong are cheerful and open minded while the Red Zao are economical and reserved…

Drive back to your hotel and enjoy noon break.

Then meet your guide and driver again for a leisure trip. This afternoon’s uphill drive offers most spectacular scenery of Fansipan Mount. Just a kilometer out of the town, rose flower farms and later chayote grows on bamboo frames covered a vast area.

Stop at the Silver Waterfall before reaching to the top of the highest mountain pass in Vietnam. Enjoy enjoy breathtaking scenery of the two side of Fansipan Mountain at its best point of view, where the wind blows stronger to force the clouds moving constantly and unveiling an an amazing contrast of weather: foggy and cloudy on Sa Pa side and sunny brightly the other side.

 Free at leisure for the rest of the day until dinner at local restaurant.

Day 3 :Visit Muong Hoa Valley – Lao Cai





In the morning, have breakfast at the hotel.


 Today spend time exploring the spectacular Muong Hoa Valleylying on the south of Sapa Town.

Enjoy a transfer through the only road to the valley, built on the side of a mountain range with an advantage height over the valley, and views of magnificent landscapes composed of high mountains, deep valleys, and stream of water winding, waterfalls and terraced rice paddies….

Then stop and leaving the main road for a short walk to tribal villages such as Ta Van of the Zay, Su Pan of the Black H’mong, Ban Ho of the Tay… Meet locals at their home and at their works.

In the afternoon, come back to the main road and get transferred to Sapa, freshen up prepare for the night train.

At 18:00: Transfer to Lao Cai Train Station and catch over night train back Hanoi.

Trekking: 4 KM walking, 60 KM Driving to Ban Ho + 40 KM Driving to Lao Cai.

8.00: We pick you up from your hotel and take you to visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex which includes Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum – the final resting place of the beloved national hero, Uncle Ho. Then we visit the President Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house where he lived off and on from 1958 to 1969. You’ll also go to the Ho Chi Minh Museum where you can learn about this remarkable man and what he did for Vietnam and the region.


 Next, you’ll visit the One Pillar Pagoda which is actually a group of structures that collectively make up a pagoda built over the water in the middle of a square lake

After that you’ll have a chance to explore the Tran Quoc Pagoda on the Shore of West Lake. From there you’ll go to the Temple of Literature which was Vietnam’s first university and is dedicated to Confucius.

Alternatively you can choose to have lunch at a restaurant in Hanoi Old quarter. Afterwards you’ll walk through the Old Quarter where you’ll get a sense of the daily life of this busy city on your way to Hoan Kiem Lake – the heart and soul of Hanoi. This is the part of town where the commercial streets of modern Hanoi meet the ancient 36 streets and numerous alleys amongst temples, pagodas and lakes.

Finally you’ll stop at Ethnology museum. This superb museum showcases the depth of Vietnamese cultural diversity with an astounding collection of 15,000 artifacts gathered from throughout Vietnam. Maps, displays and dioramas are labeled in Vietnamese, French and English. Displays portray a typical village market, the making of comical hats and a Tay shamanic ceremony, videos show the real thing. You can also check out a traditional Black Thai house reconstructed in the museum. There’s also a centre for research and conservation where scientists from all over the world study traditional Vietnamese cultures.

  • The mausoleum (where the body is kept) is closed on Monday and Friday, in September and October for preservation.

  • Rules regarding dress and behavior are strictly enforced by guards, legs must be covered (no shorts or miniskirts), long shirt/blouse (cover shoulders). Visitors must be silent, and walk in two lines. Hands must not be in pockets, nor arms crossed. Smoking, photography, and videotaping are also not permitted anywhere inside the mausoleum.
